How to Recite the The Chaplet of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
This chaplet, which is prayed on a string of beads like the Rosary, is unlike the Rosary since it normally consists of 5 blue beads, 5 red beads, and 5 gold beads for a total of 15 beads. (We suggest you use your fingers.)
Start: “Praise to you Most Holy Trinity for the graces, privileges, and blessings bestowed on the Immaculate Heart of Mary!”
1. In honor of the Joys of Mary’s Heart, pray 5x
“Glory Be”
“Rejoice and be glad Immaculate Heart of Mary!”
2. In honor of the Sorrows of Mary’s Heart, pray 5x
“Glory Be”
“Blessed be the sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary!”
3. In honor of the Glories of Mary’s Heart, pray 5x
“Glory Be”
“Triumph and reign, O Immaculate Heart of Mary!”
Conclusion: “Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Thy kingdom come through the Immaculate Heart of Mary! Immaculate Heart of Mary, be my refuge! St. Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Heart, pray for us!”
